The adventures of Central Vac.

What the H#%! happened here?!

"I think it was...

him."

"Nope, I was asleep the whole time."

"Well, it wasn't me! How about her?"

"She was with me alllll night."

"OK, who's going to clean up this mess?"

"Uh? What did you say?"

"Ok, fine. I'll patch the wall. Feel better now?"

"I am going out to play. Later"

To tell the truth, I did that to the wall, hee hee hee. That big hole was the result of installing a two inch pipe in an inch and a half wall, for our central vacuum system. I have to give a big shout out to Popo, she helped. A LOT!

More to follow later.

Cozy.... or at least cozier

Yes I still have to paint the ceiling. I will (someday).

I like the addition of the ladder, the bright green really sets off the color.

patching plaster

Ok. So the ceiling needs a little work. Its had some damage in the past, was patched poorly in places and had a few cracks and loose spots.

This is a spot that had loosened and I removed what was about to fall down.

I love the pink spackling. Call me crazy but knowing when its dry with out touching it, is as close to magic as it gets here. I did my best to duplicate the swirly pattern of the ceiling.

Another spot. There were five spots in all. I'm just waiting now for it to be completely dry before painting.

I'm also getting ready to paint!!!

Reports from the Cardboard Jungle

Ahh the fresh smell of primer.

Not being a fan of wooden paneling (no offense to those of you happen to be unlucky enough to redecorate during the 70's and 80's) I am trying to cover over it until I can tear it down. I think its working. Maybe another coat. And yes that is a bathroom in the kitchen, at least there is a door on it. Don't you just love older houses?
